Teaching Style and Content: – Every student is an individual, with their own particular musical interests, learning styles and progression rates. I teach a range of music, including Rock and Pop, easy listening, classical and jazz piano styles.

Learning the piano or keyboard is something that all ages can benefit from.

Primary students: Through the fun and sense of achievement in learning to play an instrument, children can also develop their social, motor and learning skills, such as perseverance, time management and listening skills; as well start a life long enjoyment of music.

Secondary students: Learning an instrument at secondary school is a great source of fun and relaxation, developing a life long enjoyment of music.  If students are studying a course with performing aspects of their course work, I work closely with secondary school music departments to support their learning.

Adult students: As an adult, we can bring all our life skills and experiences to help us learn a new skill or develop a skill that you started when you were younger. Learning an instrument has many benefits, but most of all, it is a great hobby to have to help us relax and exercise our brains.
